These are some "Touch for Strength" beads that I designed for the Beads of Courage program.
They're a wonderful group that provides beads to kids undergoing cancer treatment. The kids
collect beads as they undergo different treatments and proudly display their "Beads of Courage" to
all who will see.

These beads were designed specifically with the mothers of the children in mind. They too undergo a
lot of stress as they watch their little ones face tremendous challenges. Cheryl Cobern-Browne has
written a booklet that accompanies the beads and provides affirmations and other words of
encouragement for the parents of these brave children. The program is trying to provide these Touch
for Strength beads free of charge to parents in the program. They will also soon be on sale through
Beads of Courage as a fundraiser for the organization.
